Our Mission: Building Lasting Peace
OBJECTIVE: We aim to achieve a lasting shift through six core goals:
1. Heightened Awareness & Behavior Shift: Instilling a mindset that rejects conflict and embraces respect for diversity.
2. Youth Empowerment & Peace Ambassadorship: Mobilizing youths, giving them the tools and networks to carry forward the mission.
3. Conflict Prevention & Early Intervention: Providing accessible frameworks for community leaders to manage tensions and intervene early.
4. Policy Advocacy & Institutional Partnerships: Engaging stakeholders to commit to peacebuilding programs and propose a Lagos Peace Charter.
5. Cultural & Artistic Amplification: Using music, drama, dance, and visual arts to translate peace messages in accessible and resonant formats.
6. Sustainability & Follow-Up Mechanisms: Establishing a Lagos Peace Network for ongoing work and tracking post-event impact.
We cannot build peace alone. Your support is not just for a 3-day summit—it is for a lasting peace movement across Lagos and beyond. We invite government leaders, corporate bodies, foundations, NGOs, media, and concerned citizens to Join hands with TAAF by:
